The starting position
Florea designs timeless women’s fashion made of linen and organic cotton and sells it in small collections through its own Shopify shop. The partner program ran at a large network – with high fees and little support.
A switch was in the room for a long time. What made Florea hesitate was the risk: Would the partners come along? How long would the tracking be? And who should do that alongside the day-to-day business of a small team?
The solution
The growth plan includes migration. The Adlesa team took over the move according to a fixed plan:
- Day 1–2: Tracking. The Shopify plugin was installed in a few minutes. For a week, the tracking in both networks ran in parallel, so that no sales were lost.
- Day 3–5: Partners and Conditions. Partner list, commissions and creatives have been adopted. New partner groups now separate new customers (12%), existing customers (8%) and voucher sites (5%).
- Day 6–9: Inform partners. Each active partner received a personal invitation with pre-filled conditions. Anyone who agreed was unlocked with one click.
I was expecting weeks of tables. Instead, the Adlesa team took over the move, and we took care of our collection.
The results
Nine days after signing the contract, the program was live. 94% of the partners who brought in revenue in the three months before the switch came along – there was no drop in sales.
Due to the lower network fee and the new partner groups, Florea’s costs for the network fell by 31% in the first year, with a slight increase in partner sales.
- Parallel tracking during the changeover takes the switch the greatest risk.
- Partners change if you invite them personally and the conditions are clear in advance.
- A network change is a good opportunity to clean up old unit commissions.
